9/2/15 Pets of the Week

Gina, Thelma, Samson, Holly, Carter, & Soho

Woof, woof, woof! This is my way of saying “Hello boys and girls”. My name is Gina and I’m a 1 year old, spayed, Shepherd Blend. I believe I may have a little bit of Retriever in my bloodline, but without a DNA test I really can’t say for sure. Either way, it really shouldn’t make a difference because it’s just a label. Once you get to know me up close and personal you’ll see I am just a fun loving girl who loves to play and run around as if there’s no tomorrow. I found my way here when a concerned woman found me wondering the streets and didn’t want to see anything bad happen to me. Once I was processed here, the staff here took my blood, gave me vaccines, and let me run around in their doggy playgroups to see if I would be able to be placed up in adoptions or, perhaps, go to a rescue. Whelp, here I am, in adoptions, hoping I find my forever home. When you come in, just fill out an application and take me out side for a bit. Watch me run and play and just have the time of my life. Take a look at my picture if you’re wondering how happy I get when brought outside. Just imagine this, you adopting me and every day you would see my cute face running up to you to shower you with kisses and love. How about it? Sounds like a win win for the both of us!

Hey there, my name’s Thelma, and you just missed my twin Louise as she already found her forever home. I’m a 7 month old, spayed, Labrador Blend. I am very well behaved with people and dogs too. I love to play fetch because it’s my favorite game in the world. Although when one of my buddies comes out for a walk, I lose all train of thought because all I think about is running of and playing with them. You probably know where this is going. If you already have a forever friend who gets lonely when you’re not around, I have the perfect solution for you. What better than adopting me and introducing us to one another. I am pretty sure we’ll get along wonderfully and then you can have peace of mind that you fur-baby has company all day, every day. Should you not have a fur-baby and just looking for a companion for yourself, again here I am. I’ll walk by your side when taken out and when we are indoors. I love nothing better than to be by your side. I got to tell you, I really think I’m the girl you’re looking for.

Alright everyone, I know you’re all looking at my picture questioning who is this gorgeous boy? Well, my name’s Samson and I am new to the bunch. I’m a 3-4 month old, male, Boxer/Shepherd Blend. I’m most likely going to be a big boy when I grow up, so if you’re looking for a small boy, I may not be the one for you. No worries though, I have a lot of small friends here who need a home just as much as I do. Feel free to look at all of us when you come by because there is always the boy or girl here you are looking for, you just may not know it yet. Anyways, back to me….. I came to Palm Valley on August 9th as a public drop off. You may be wondering why it took so long for me to get into adoptions. Easy enough, all of us puppies are isolated after we are vaccinated for a little over a week to make sure we aren’t sick. Luckily enough for me I tested great and was moved up on Sept. 1st. You can see just how much fun I’ll be if you took me home today. I jump around excitedly at everyone I meet wishing they will be the one to take me home and teach me how to play fetch, and allow me to love them unconditional for the rest of our time together. Just don’t think about it for too long because I am sure someone is thinking the same thing and they may just get here before you. Do you really want to miss out on your new best friend?

Hello, my name is Holly and I’m a 5 month old, female, Domestic Shorthair. My previous owner found me and fed me since I was a little kitty who just wouldn’t have been able to make it on my own. She loved me and helped me grow into the beautiful young kitty that I am now. Sadly enough, she will be moving and will not be able to take me with her. We both cried a little and she explained that she wouldn’t just dump me in the streets, but she gave me a second chance to find another “mom” who will care for me and love me as she did. So, here I am at Palm Valley with a whole bunch of other boys and girls who are pretty much in the same situation as me. Now I am here hoping what my mom told me will come true. She assured me someone would fall in love with me as she did because I’m super loving, and will steal the heart of someone as I did with hers.

Carter here and I’m an 8 month old, male, Domestic Shorthair Blend. I’m actually scheduled today for my neutering appointment with the Vet so I may be neutered when you come. Are you looking for a playful, loving boy who’ll fill your days with excitement and love? Well look no further than here because I’m all of that and more. When you look at me through my window you’ll see I just want to play with you. I’ll jump around and be silly hoping I will make an everlasting impression with you. If you’re thinking about possibly adoption me and would like to visit with me out side of my room, just fill out an application and ask if we can socialize in the room next door. This is what I suggest to everyone looking for a friend. This way you can hold me, hear me purr and just fall so head over heels in love with me that you will be running to the front desk saying I’m the one for you!

Good morning everyone. My name’s Soho and I’m a 4 month old, spayed, Domestic Shorthair Blend. If it’s not my beauty that you are attracted to, maybe it will be my awesome personality. I enjoy to be held like a baby and I just love all the attention that comes with it. I enjoy playing with the other kitties in the community cat room and just running around being a silly little kitty. If you wanted to visit with me, you would need to visit me at the Petco in Edinburg as I will be moving over there today. Don’t worry, I’m still adoptable and I’m already microchipped and ready to go. Just swing on by and fill out an application to take me home with you today. While you’re there you will be able to buy all my food and toys in the same spot. You wouldn’t have to make that extra trip to the pet store. Be sure to visit me and my buddy Olaf as we will be there waiting for you.adopt dont shop
