Arya, Rino, Benny, Mr. Boots, Trixie, Corky & Falcon

Well hello there. My name is Arya and I’m a 1 year old, female, Shepherd/Pointer Blend. I was brought out this week in a new thing Palm Valley is doing called play groups for all of the boys and girls waiting to be adopted. Let me just say, I was a rock star in the groups. I got along with all the other boys and girls and just wanted to play all day. I ran around so happily and honestly it felt so good. Good enough that before I went back in to eat, I jumped in the kiddie pool to lie down and cool off for a bit. As I was out playing all I thought about was how great this would be if I had my own family and yard to run free in. Hopefully you could be the one to make my dreams come true. RinoMy name is Rino and I’m a 1 year old, male, Terrier Blend. I too had the chance to go play with everyone this week and I too had a blast. I may not have ran around as much as my buddy Arya did, but I didn’t have a problem with anyone in my group, nor did I cause any trouble either. I was more of the keep to myself, enjoy the day and occasionally say hi to a few of the boys and girls out there. When I was taken out for a one on one with the adoptions manager in the front yard, she noticed that every time she would go to pet me I would cower down and crawl towards her. I could see in her face that she was wondering if maybe I had a hard life or maybe I wasn’t treated the way I should have been. She then whispered in my ear that this time around I would find a new loving family who would treat me as if I was one of the family. I truly hope she is right because I have so much love to give. Little Benny here and I’m a 6 month old, male, Chihuahua Blend. I was picked up by animal control back in the middle of April because my owners called them to pick me up. They didn’t give a reason on why they didn’t want me anymore, but no one here can even imagine why they would let me go. I must not weigh any more than 6 lbs. and I am practically done growing. I was also brought out to the play groups, but I only got to play with the boys and girls my size. We ran around and really just got to be the dogs we really are. There weren’t any problems, so if you have another small buddy who is looking for a forever friend, well that could be me. By the way, did I mention that I am the perfect lap dog and you can bring me just about anywhere because of my size? Well I am, and I would love nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you when you adopt me today.TrixieHey everybody. My name is Trixie and I’m a 4 year old, spayed, Domestic Shorthair Blend. This is my second time around here at Palm Valley. I was adopted back in 2011 when I was only 4 months old. I must say, my previous owners did the right thing by bringing my back to get my 2nd chance at another loving home. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, they just weren’t able to care for me anymore. I am grateful that they just didn’t abandon me like some of my other friends here who are now looking for their forever family. I play nice with the other cats and I like humans too. Come visit all of us in the community cat room and you will be sure to make one of us the happiest cat in the world when you adopt one of us.Mr BootsGood morning Valley, how is everyone today? I’m awesome today and thanks for asking. My name is Mr. Boots and I’m a 7 year old, neutered, Domestic Shorthair Blend. I was brought her by my wonderful owner because, unfortunately she had to move and wasn’t able to take me with her. She also became my Guardian Angel before she left. Ask any of the counselors what a Guardian Angel is as many of us here have one. Either we have been here so long, or people just fall in love with us, but are not able to adopt us themselves. So they try to help by paying some of our adoption fee to help us find our forever homes. I really enjoy being outdoors a lot on the patio enjoying the sun. I also don’t mind other cats, but I do like my alone time just a bit more. Guess you can say I am more of a loner. So if you’re looking for a handsome older man, well I am the one for you. Corky & FalconI’m Corky and this is my brother Falcon. We are both 2 month old, male, Domestic Shorthair Blends. You’re probably thinking to yourself which is which? Honestly, even our staff have to go off of our ID tags as we are twins. We were brought here along with our sister, but unfortunately she was too week and passed on to a better place.  We were placed into foster so that we could get big and strong and healthy enough for adoptions. Now that we are, here we are. We love to run around and play together with toys and just about anything we can get our paws on. We also got to play with some dogs while we were here and we aren’t afraid of them whatsoever. How we would love to be adopted together but we know this just may not happen so we talked amongst ourselves and decide just so long as we find our forever homes, we will always be together in our hearts. So if you’re looking for one or two silly kittens to give a home, be sure to visit with us. We are sure it will be love at first sight.adopt dont shopAdoption fees include first series of shots; spay/neuter operation, microchip, and a month of pet insurance.  For more information on adopting Ayra, Rino, Benny, Mr Boots, Trixie, Corky, Falcon or any of our other adoptable pets, visit the Palm Valley Animal Center at 2501 W.
