5/13/15 Pets of the Week

Yoshi, Luna, Fred, Kris Kringle, Samantha, and Quil

If you didn’t get to meet me before, I’m back. My name’s Yoshi and I’m a 1 year old, neutered, Shepherd Blend. I was adopted from here many months back, but found my way back to Palm Valley Animal Center. I was microchipped when I left so when I returned it was very easy to find my new owner. Unfortunately, he never came back for me even with the many attempts Palm Valley tried to get in touch with him. As soon as I made it into adoptions again, I was adopted again and I thought this was it. Needless to say, I’m back for the third time. This time it was sad when I was brought back because of an allergic reaction my new owners developed when they brought me home. They really wanted to keep me, but if they did, they would need to keep me outdoors and they didn’t feel it was fair to me. I’m the most loving big boy you may ever stumble upon here.  I love to give kisses just so you know just how much I love you. Hopefully the third time’s a charm and I will find my true forever home with you.

My name is Luna, or Moon when translated.  I’m a 6 month old, spayed, Boxer Blend. I was brought here back in February of this year and put directly into foster. The only reason I was placed with a foster family was because they thought I may have been deaf. Needless to say I wasn’t deaf and was brought back for my chance at a forever home. I know how to listen to commands, but when I want to. To sum it up for you, I wasn’t deaf, I just had selective hearing, which I’m sure you may know a human or two like that. I am very full of life and would do great with a family who is very active. Maybe we could go on runs together or even just run around in the yard together. Once I let out all my energy, we could go back inside in the air conditioning and just relax and maybe even fall asleep together watching a movie. I know this sounds very inviting to you, so why not adopt me today and invite me into your life as the newest member of the family.

Yabba dabba doo, my name’s Fred and I’m a 2 month old, male, Shar Pei Blend. I was brought in with four of my siblings and we were all placed in isolation while waiting to come into adoptions. While we were waiting, the Healthcare staff tested me and gave me vaccinations so I would be protected from the crazy elements of this world. Since we all stayed healthy and are in much need of a forever home, we all were moved up into adoptions this week. Since we’re still very young, the humans ask that you don’t bring us out for walks and PLEASE sanitize your hands before handling us. My siblings will be easy to spot here because we are all next to each other, and get this, their names are Wima, Betty, Barney, and Pebbles, sound familiar? Swing on by and visit with us before we all find our forever homes. You never know, you may just be the one to take us home with you today.

Kris Kringle

Well, my name’s Kris Kringle. I know it’s not Christmas time, but when I was brought here, it was 2 days before Christmas. I’m 2 year old, neutered, Domestic Shorthair Blend.  I too, just like Luna, was placed into a loving foster family. The only reason I was placed into foster was because it looked as if I had a hard life before being rescued. I came in with bite marks all over me and needed for them to heal before I made it into adoptions. As you can tell by my picture, it worked. They are all healed and I am ready to be adopted out. I will be one of the first ones at the door to meet you and if you hang outside the door pondering if you should come in or not, I’ll be the one just sitting there waiting for you to make your move. Have a seat and let me hang out on your lap for a bit. There is nothing more that I love than to be next to you. Sit long enough and I’m sure you’ll fill out an application to take me home.

Samantha here, and I’m a 1 year old, spayed, Domestic Medium hair Blend. I actually found my way to one of Palm Valley’s foster mom’s house and she took me in so I wouldn’t be living on the streets. While she was taking care of me, she took me to be spayed and let me interact with her lovely pets. I enjoyed my time with her but I realized her home was full. After I was healed from the surgery, she brought me to Palm Valley so that I could find a loving family. So far, I’ve been lounging around the community cat room and enjoying the attention the volunteers give me. I really love it when they brush my hair it feels amazing. It’s like a personal massage that I wish would never end. Though, I certainly hope that maybe one of you reading this might come by to get to know me. I definitely would like to find my home soon.

Hi there, my name is Quil, and I’m a 6 month old, neutered, Domestic Shorthair Blend. My story starts when I was dropped off in the adoption building with my other siblings. I was a couple weeks old and very scared. The staff at Palm Valley was able to find us a wonderful foster home where we stayed ‘till we were able to get neutered. When we came back to PVAC I was able to stay with my siblings in the community cat room. I wasn’t scared anymore since we would be here together. I’ve been able to get to know all the cats here, we all have our personalities. I’m very loving & willing to keep you company ‘till the wee hours so that you are not alone. I love to play and enjoy other cats as company. Perhaps you may be looking for cat like me. If so please come by to meet me. adopt dont shop
