Twister, Mr. Squeeks, Paisley, Flip, Quentine, and Peter

Hey everyone, my name is Twister and I’m a 1 year old, male, Border Collie Blend. When I first arrived here, everyone assumed I was a female because my markings are so beautiful and my fur just flows in the wind. But to everyone’s surprise, I wasn’t. I’m just a young boy looking for my forever home just like all of us here. I must’ve made such an impression on everyone who walks through my doors because I already have a Guardian Angel sponsoring me.  I’m not too sure if it’s because I’m well behaved or because I’m already potty trained. Never the less, you should really find the time to come check me out. When you decide to take me outside for a bit, ask my counselors for a tennis ball so we can play.  I will be completely honest with you, it takes me a bit to play. I’m thankful the staff here had patience with me because after about 10 throws, I finally caught on. I chased the ball, grabbed it in my mouth and brought it back. I got so much praise for doing so that when they threw it again, I just took off to get it. I had so much fun playing fetch that I am hoping when you adopt me we can play every day together. Oh yea, don’t forget to mention my Guardian Angel when you adopt me today!

Mr Squeeks

Good morning all, my name’s Mr. Squeeks and I’m a 2 year old, male Chihuahua Blend. When you come for a visit I may be hard to find, but I will give you a hint. I’m in the puppy room. I was moved in here because I seemed to have learned how to get out of the kennels where the big boys and girls are. When you look for me there, don’t overlook me because I do look like a puppy. I must only weigh about 10 lbs. and I get overly excited just like the puppies do here. The only difference is since I am older so you can take me outside for a walk, which hopefully you do, because I too am already potty trained. Since everyone thinks I’m a puppy I don’t get walked very often and I may need to work on a schedule again when you take me home with you. I love to be held and be close to you always. So much so when we do got outside I will keep jumping on your legs for you to pick me up. If you decide to sit in one of the kennels outside, don’t be surprised when I jump up into your lap every time. What the perfect boy I would be to any family that adopts me. Hopefully it will be yours so I may fill your life with love and affection for many years to come.

So riddle me this: Is it age before beauty, or is it they saved the best for last? Either way they both work for me. My name is Paisley and I’m a 4 month old, spayed, Terrier Blend. I was found on the streets just roaming around with no place to call home. Luckily enough for me a sweet women found me and brought me to Palm Valley where I’m getting a second chance at a forever home. I’m very playful and will make a perfect addition to your home no matter how big or small your family is. I do wonderfully with children and I could keep them entertained for hours. I’m still too young to be brought outside to play, but you’re more than welcome to come into my kennel for a bit and get to know me. I enjoy playing with toys, especially the ones that squeak. I get so happy when people visit with me that not only does my tail wag, but my whole body shakes. Let me shake on into your life and be the best of friends forever.

Hi there, my name is Flip and I’m a 2 year old, spayed, Domestic Shorthair Blend. My previous owners brought me here in hopes that I could find a new family to love me. Unfortunately they were moving and unable to bring me with them. I’m very independent girl who can easily take care of myself. I get along with all the other cats here in my “Kitty Resort” as I like to call it. The only thing is I want a family and a home I can call my own again. Sure it’s swell here and we are taken very good care of, but it’s not the same as having a family. I am dreaming of a place where I can feel loved and be part of a family again. Being here, I see many of my friends come and go and even though I am extremely happy for them, it hurts me to see them leave and I’m still here. I am a very clean girl who doesn’t get in the way much. When you walk in to our room, I will be the girl with the big blue eyes wondering if you will be the one to make my dreams come true.

Just for the record, my name is Quentine and I’m a 6 month old, neutered, Domestic Shorthair Blend. You’re probably thinking to yourself that I look super familiar. Well it’s probably because my 4 brothers came with me to Palm Valley a few months ago. We were too young to be placed into adoptions so we had a great foster mom take care of us until we could. Some of us are here and some of us are over at Petco. All of us are the most playful kitties you will ever meet and if we’re not playing, we enjoy just be out on the patio soaking up the sun. The reason I am speaking to all of you is because I am the more outgoing boy. I love to run around and chase things, and I will be one of the first kitties to meet you when you walk into the door. Ask my counselors if they have any toys you can bring into the community cat so we may play. When you do I’m sure you will have so much fun that you wouldn’t want it to end. Well guess what? When you adopt me today, the fun will never have to end.

Well hello there. My name is Peter and I’m an adult, male Rabbit. I was found couple of days ago and brought over here so that I could be safe and hopefully adopted out. I am super good bunny who doesn’t mind if you carry me. Actually they were carrying me around like a little baby when I first made it into adoptions. I don’t put up a struggle like most rabbits do when you want to take me out of my cage to clean it. If you had a playpen, you could place me in it while you are cleaning so that I may get my daily exercise. Or, even better than that, you could teach me how to walk on a harness and take me out like you would a dog. How cool would that be? Honestly how many rabbits do you get to see being walked, or shall I say hop on a leash? You will be the talk of the neighborhood. Wow, I just can’t wait to go home with you today and you can show me off to everyone.
