04/22/15 Pets of the Week

Buzz, Razzle & Dazzle, Gabby, Norris, Romeo & Juliet, and Evan

BuzzWhat’s all the Buzz about? Well it must be me. My name is Buzz and I’m a 1 year old, Male, Akita Blend. Hopefully if all goes well I will have been neutered before this article about me comes out. I was found on the streets by an anonymous wonderful man who brought me here in hopes of my owner coming to look for me here. Sadly enough, no one has come by to claim me. Although, that may just be good news for you because I am now up for adoption and ready to go home with you. I do really well when walked on a leash and if we were to go for walks you don’t have to worry about me pulling you all around. I play nice with other dogs and wouldn’t mind a friend to play with while you’re not home. Don’t look for a me too long because I am sure I will be out the door before you know it.

Razzle & Dazzle

Hi there. I’m Razzle, and I’m a 3 year old, female, Poodle Blend. The beautiful girl next to me is Dazzle and she is also a 3 year old, Poodle Blend. Actually I believe she is my sister because we were both surrendered here by our owner because she wasn’t able to care for us anymore. When we were brought in together we were housed in the same kennel waiting to come into adoptions. Both of us were terrified and would huddle together in the back. Well the day came when we both were moved to the front for adoption and they decided to separate us so we could become more independent. Well guess what, it worked. Both of us now come to the front of the kennel eager to see who may just fill out an application for us. Although we would love to be adopted together, we know it just might not be possible, and that’s ok. We now know how to get along without each other so when the day comes it won’t be that hard for us to be separated. We have so much love to give and we couldn’t think of anyone better than you to share it with. So why not adopt us both or at least one of us because I know we both will find good loving homes if we aren’t adopted together.

Hello everyone. My name is Gabby and I’m 3 year old, spayed, Domestic Shorthair Blend. I was adopted back in February of this year and everything was going great. My new owners loved me and I was just the most perfect girl they have ever had. I am very independent, get along with other cats, and just grateful I was adopted. If I am so great, why did they return me you ask? Unfortunately they had a family member who was very allergic to me and just couldn’t be around me as it was so bad. They did try to work it out but decided that they just couldn’t have me in the home anymore. I know it was just as heartbreaking for them as it was for me, but I do understand and thank them for not just putting me out on the streets. Being here I have another chance to find my forever home.

Hi there. My name is Norris and I’m a 4 month old, neutered, Domestic Shorthair Blend. I enjoy being carried like a little baby and getting all the affection I can. I am super happy because I got neutered here so that I could go and play with the big boys and girls. I tend to stay by myself because I am looking for more of a younger crowd who actually like to play. Some of the older cats play, but not like the younger ones. So I am hoping that maybe you have a young kitty who is looking for a friend, or maybe your children are looking for the perfect household pet. If so, you should really come and meet me. Not only am I good looking, but I could keep you and your children entertained for hours if given the chance. Or maybe you live alone? That’s perfect too because we could become the best of friends and hang out at night and watch TV or even just fall asleep together. WOW, I am getting super excited with all the possibilities.

Romeo & Juliet

Hey there. My name is Romeo and this is my friend Juliet. We are both adult parakeets who are looking to fly in to your heart. We had two other friends but luckily for them, they found their forever home already. All of us were brought in from a concerned citizen who found us at one of the High Schools in the neighborhood. We want to thank her because not only do we have shelter and food, we have a chance to find good loving homes where we will be loved and not be in any danger anymore. Come visit with us and fall in love, because our feathers are beautiful just like our hearts. We’ll be keeping an eye out for you.

Get a load out of me. I can guess most of you have never seen anything as extraordinary as me. My name is Evan and I am a 3 year old, male, Chinchilla. I was brought to Palm Valley by my wonderful owners who have cared for me since I was a baby. They both actually got transferred through their jobs to a country where they do not allow my kind. They were heartbroken, and left everything for me so when I do get adopted I will be all set up in the comfort I my home that I have been with for as long as I can remember. I must say I am a very delicate breed and would need for anyone who adopts me to know about me first. I do not bite and I am handled very easily. Please ask for assistance while visiting with me. My counselors here know how to handle me and will be glad to show me to you, but PLEASE do not try to handle me without them. This is for my safety, and if asked, anyone here will be happy to help you with me. One last word of advice, please read up on my breed if you are seriously thinking about giving me my new forever home.
